Things that are making RSCOE different from other Engineering Colleges (Review)

Hello Everyone!

First of all I'd like thank our Lakhs of Readers for their consistent Support for Our News Portal.

Today, we have a special Article here, in Editorial Section, I'm going to Review about an Engineering College, JSPM's Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering, Tathawade, Pune. I want to put my personal thoughts Opinions, my Personal Experience and whole Detailed Review about this College, which is an Autonomous Institute, permanently Affiliated under one of the Prestigious University, that is Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).

According to Outcomes from Varies reports and Surveys, Generally Students See Few Factors, and I want to Brief those factors in Best possible way I can, as I'm Pursuing my Bachelor's Degree from Same College.

Placements:

As of Now, RSCOE's Autonomous Batch is Still Not Out for placement as on year 2023 the First Autonomous Batch will be Out, but as of now, still every year RSCOE records High Number of Placements. Generally, almost everyone from CS/IT/ENTC gets Placed, or engaged in Higher Studies/Entrepreneurship.

When Talking about Core Fields like Electrical/Mechanical and Civil, the amazing thing is, even in these Branches RSCOE has Attractive Placements, that Certainly Means, RSCOE have Strong Industry Relations. Also, RSCOE has Special Cell known as "Students Progression & Industry Relation Cell" which Directly comes under TPO Mr. SPRao Borde, a young gentleman who is always working at his Best, for Welfare of College in Terms of Placements.

But what I believe RSCOE may Record Huge Number of Placements, after their Autonomous Batch will be out, as the Syllabus which is Designed by them is Industry Oriented and Up to Date, will brief about this Later, in Article.

Infrastructure:

Although Students Consider this Factor too, but Generally One should believe in Internal Beauty rather than External, anyways, Certainly RSCOE don't have that High Class Infrastructure as of 5 star Hotels, but it has "Somewhat Okay", Infrastructure But Certainly Not the Best. They try to keep Campus Neat, Clean and Tidy, also when you Enter inside Entrance Gate there are many Trees which Gives great Environment.

Higher Authorities & Faculties Reviews:

Higher Authorities' Review:

Literally Speaking, I was Shocked to see the Attachment between Students - Higher Authority relation they are Having, because, before admitting into any Engineering Institute, almost Everyone bombarded in my mind that no matter which College you go in, Professors will just mentor you, help you in your Doubts that's all. But in my First Year what I saw, Each and Every Lecture was on time, if someone on leave Another Professor comes to take the lecture, and in my First Year, NOT EVEN A SINGLE lecture was off. Certainly such type of Punctuality and Discipline helps student to build strong Foundation.

I'd like to Strongly Mention About Head of the First Year Department, Prof. Dr. Sunita M. Yadav (HOD Department of Engg. Science and Humanities), she is not only a HOD, Professor, GFM, but best friend of all students in RSCOE, when I admitted in College she herself use to taught us Engg. Chemistry Subject, after Carefully attending her Lectures, one will surely get influenced, also I'm believing she will Comeback to teach us Subject called Human Values and Ethics, in Next Semester. But apart from that what best thing I liked about her is the way she interact with her students, you will never find that you are talking to a HOD, when I use to talk, sometimes I use to forget and think that I'm having Discussion with my very close friend, I want to admire this fact that Generally Higher Authorities of Engineering College don't much Involve/interact with Students, but RSCOE always stand out different in this Regard, as even in this Pandemic, our Principal sir, Prof. R. K. Jain, use to Come on Meetings and Directly interact with students.

There is One more Excellent Personality from Higher Authority, who himself taught us one of my Personal favorite Subject that is Engg. Physics, for whole Semester, and even being a Busy Man, he use to Discuss students doubts take Feedback Meetings from Students and use to be in-touch with whole Division, its, Prof. Avinash Devasthali, (Vice - Principal, RSCOE). Really it was a great Experience with them all. Higher Authority of RSCOE is working as a Backbone for Welfare of Students, certainly impacting for major outcomes in future.

Faculties' Review:

As per review cited above of Higher Authority but similarly RSCOE is having faculties with Passion of Teaching, with some excellent skills, and the best part, the attachment with students is too awesome. RSCOE takes regular feedback from students and work on it, impacting to have great outcome in terms of teaching by the Professors. I'd love the style of Teaching by Each and Every Faculty we were allotted for, every Subject. But not only ours's, I was in-touch with other branch students as well, received feedback from them as well on the same! We students are very Lucky to get admitted here and to have such faculties with friendly environment.

Student Activities:

This is very attractive point that students see while seeking admission in any Engineering College. RSCOE completely believes in Overall Personality Development of every students. RSCOE always motivate students to Participate in Extra Curricular activities, College also organize Events/Webinars from time to time, to make students learn about many different things. I was very luck to Actively Participate in Student Activities as I was an Editor in Digital Section of Official College Magazine "Kalavishkar" for this year, not only that seeing my ability of Leadership and unofficial work, I got an opportunity to work as Official "Event Co-Ordinator", of First Year Engineering Students' Association (FESA), it was one of my great Experience over there and I've learnt lot useful things as an Event Coordinator, I thank to whole First Year Department and Higher Authorities for giving me this Opportunity.

But RSCOE is not Limited to what I cited above, the Team of Hip-Hopers and Rangbhumi is too active, also RSCOE has almost 25 different Clubs to make students learn about new things. This thing is Really Appreciable because RSCOE is one of those Only Few Colleges, motivating students to participate in Different activities.

Syllabus Structure and Overall Results:

RSCOE has collaborated with Some Top Industrial Companies like TCS, KPIT, etc and also collaborated with IIT - Ropar for Designing its Structure and Curriculum.

Prof. Dr. Ram Joshi (Dean Academics, RSCOE), manages and thinks over all Activities related to Academics, previously he was also HOD of Department of Information Technology of RSCOE, one of best Professional I came across in RSCOE, well - experience and having mind blowing friendly attitude.

Also, as its Autonomous, we students get huge benefit in terms of Syllabus and Notes, as I handle many Domains and Actively Participate in Extra - Curricular, but maintaining my Academics was my first motive, my result was really great as I got 91% in Second Semester, and 83.4% in First Semester, for me getting such result motivates to dedicate more towards my work and stand as per the profile, but I believe its only because of Autonomy and Effective way of Teaching.

In my whole batch almost no one has any Back - Log, but even of Someone College takes Re-Exam just within 15 - 20 days of Final Results so student will not have to carry forward the Burden, and gets back in the same flow, as of fellow students. I personally appreciate this system.

Final Conclusion:

At last, I'd say for getting here in RSCOE one must be lucky, due to Recent Autonomy Status, and Great Overall Reviews, RSCOE will have high cutoffs. For getting here you must go through MHT CET Counselling process.

RSCOE is strict in Terms and Attendance and Discipline, I never felt this like a College, its just like our High School, but certainly as they are  giving best we must too.

If you are one of those student showing Enthusiasm, college will definitely Support you!

Actually even today I regret that if I would have knew that college was that supportive surely, I'd have something more transformation, but anyways whatever I've done is more than enough in my First Year, but this is just the starting of my Engineering Career, too much struggle and hard work ahead is waiting to see me!
