The mean age of hospitalised Covid-19 patients was lower in the second wave at 48.7 years against 50.7 years during the first wave of the pandemic, shows a study based on the National Clinical Registry, indicating that younger people may have faced hospitalisation due to the infection during the upsurge post-February.
