A 19-year-old boy and his father cycled for six hours from Gosaba in Sunderbans to reach the city suburbs 75 km away on Wednesday morning and then spent another two hours travelling the last 20-odd km on public transport to reach the examination venue in Salt Lake Sector V in time to appear for the JEE (Main).
