Punjab government on Friday decided to extend curfew in the state till May 1 in view of the prevailing coronavirus situation. Earlier, the state had imposed curfew till April 14. The decision to extend the curfew/lockdown was taken 'unanimously' at a meeting of the council of ministers chaired by chief minister Amarinder Singh through video conferencing.
