Equity indices plunged further on Monday with the benchmark BSE sensex crashing over 1,400 points as the deadly coronavirus continues to spread, raising fears of a global economic slowdown. Sensex plunged 1,417 points or 3.77 per cent to 36,159; while the broader NSE Nifty moved 391 points or 3.56 per cent to 10,599.
