Kim Ji Hyun, credited for Sindhu's win in Basel, termed the Indian shuttler as "heartless" in an interview. The coach, who apparently took ill and was hospitalised, lamented that she was left to fend for herself and that Sindhu's only concern was when she'd return to coach 'me'. Sindhu's father Ramana said that Sindhu had no chance of knowing about Kim's health.
