In 2017, BJP governed 71% of Indian landmass but after the loss in Jharkhand, BJP governs mere 35%. BJP's string of losses in states despite the massive General election victory this year may force the party's top brass to revisit its strategy for Delhi and Bihar assembly polls. BJP now rules 43% of the population as compared to over 69% two years back.
