In the final stages of formulating its bylaws and policies, the Rajini Makkal Mandram may assume a new name when launched as a party. Sources said Rajinikanth is determined to propagate an effective but civil political discourse aimed at filling the void left behind by former DMK president M Karunanidhi and AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa.
