Since Ajit joined the government, over a dozen NCP leaders have urged him to reconsider his move. “We do not know why he took the decision, particularly when we were to stake claim in collaboration with Shiv Sena and Congress. It was decided to offer him the post of deputy CM,’’ an NCP leader said.
