The government on Friday transferred Jammu and Kashmir governor Satya Pal Malik to Goa and appointed new lieutenant governors (LG) for the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. While Radha Krishan Mathur was appointed the new LG of Ladakh, Girish Chandra Murmu is given the charge of Jammu and Kashmir.
