The BJP leadership feels the Article 370 pitch will go down well with urban voters who can tilt the scales in favour of the party in 132 of the total 288 assembly constituencies. “The rural heartland is abuzz with issues such as irrigation, water scarcity and support prices for foodgrains,” said a party strategist.
