The government on Tuesday guaranteed the Indian Olympic Association and IOC that all athletes, qualifying for international events to be held in India, will be granted entry into the country. This paves way for India to be given hosting rights for international events again. It also clears decks for Pakistan athletes to compete in international events in India.
