The battle in phase 4 remains largely north of the Vindhyas. BJP alone had won a whopping 45 of the 71 seats going to polls on April 29. The nine states going to polls in phase 4 are Maharashtra: 17 seats, Rajasthan: 13 seats, UP: 13 seats, Odisha: 6 seats, West Bengal: 8 seats, Jharkhand: 3 seats, Bihar: 5 seats and Jammu and Kashmir: 1 seat.
