Deputy election commissioner Sudip Jain, who looks after EVMs, said the present system of matching EVM vote count with VVPAT slips was more than sufficient and asserted that so far, the EC had counted VVPAT slips in 1,500 constituencies and no discrepancy was found in even one EVM. The bench said, “It is not a case of sufficiency but satisfaction.”
