India resumed the second day at 303/4 with Cheteshwar Pujara (130*) and Hanuma Vihari (39*) at the crease. The visitors would target to bat themselves into further position of strength on Friday and ensure a result (draw or win) that will more or less assure a maiden Test series victory for them Down Under.
