The police on Thursday arrested local Bajrang Dal Yogesh Raj who is one of the main accused in the December 3 Bulandshahr violence in which inspector Subodh Kumar Singh was killed by a mob. The violence had erupted after cow carcasses were found in a field near Mahaw village in the district. The inspector and youth had died during the violence.
