Khalistan supporters infiltrated Congress president Rahul Gandhi's final public event in the UK and had to be removed by police during the warm-up to his arrival. TOI had reported last week how members of various right wing PIO community groups had planned, over Whatsapp, to disrupt this particular event by heckling or throwing tomatoes. The Indian Overseas Congress (UK) told TOI that they had hired two security firms and deployed police to ensure the Ramada Hotel event went smoothly.
